Meet Alyssa
I knew that I wanted to be a photographer from the first time I developed a print in the soft orange glow of dark room sophomore year of high school. In 2007 I graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Photography.
After many years of working for a studio in Northbrook as a wedding/event photographer as well as an editor, album designer and studio manager, I began to create my own brand. My approach to capturing a wedding is to write the story of your day in images. From anticipation and prep to the last sweaty dance moment at the end of the night! My style is a combination of knowing when to grab those candid moments and when to give guided prompts to help instill in my clients the confidence to feel comfortable in front of the camera. To curate a stress free day that allows my couples to truly live in the MOMENTS.
My husband Matthew and I met in 2012 and had a mutual passion for photography. He quickly jumped into the wedding photography world with both feet. I love being a husband and wife photography team. We are able to work seamlessly together and provide our own perspectives on capturing each wedding in their own unique way.
